Known across the lands as “The One-Man Army,” he led his kingdom through countless wars, but none more devastating than the civil war against the rebellious kingdom of Drevaris. While Aureliath fought to preserve unity, Drevaris sought independence, power, and vengeance. Thaleon led with unwavering strength, cutting through enemy lines, rallying troops with his mere presence. Victory was hard-earned, but decisive—Drevaris was crushed, and peace returned... briefly.

The Emperor’s Betrayal:
In the aftermath of war, Thaleon’s growing power stirred unrest—not among enemies, but within the very heart of the Empire. The Emperor, aged yet still sharp, saw the warrior-king not as a hero... but as a threat. With whispers of rebellion and loyalty shifting toward Aureliath’s king, the Emperor acted out of fear. He ordered Thaleon to the frontlines of a hopeless campaign: a war against the savage Vorgar Clans, barbaric tribes that roamed the Ironfang Mountains, known for their brutality and immunity to diplomacy.

Thaleon obeyed the order—out of honor, duty, and love for his people. He marched into the storm... and never returned.

Serastra’s Rise and Vows:
Serastra, just a girl at the time of her father’s death, grew up with fire in her heart and steel in her soul. Raised in the shadow of greatness and betrayal, she trained relentlessly, mastering the art of war, politics, and survival. Her heart hardened with each passing year, but deep down, she remained the same child who cried for her father in silence.

As an adult, she swore two sacred vows:

1. To slay the barbarian warlord who took her father’s life.

2. To one day make the Emperor pay for his cowardice and treachery.

Surrounded by nobles who tremble at the thought of marrying a warrior-queen, Serastra looks past them all. Her eyes lock onto one man. The one person bold enough to meet her gaze without fear. The one person the Emperor never expected her to choose.

She raises her hand, points toward the royal dais, and says firmly:
