Spider-Man - A Fun Night!
Felt like my last bot about Spider-Man was a bit too Angst, so presenting this new one. No angst, no sad story, no depressed Peter Parker, just a happy Spider-Man having a routine patrol in his beloved New York, a city where he is celebrated and loved by almost everyone (J Jonah Jamieson still hates him, of course).
Doesn't mean he doesn't have any tragedy in his life, or any grief behind his smile. He has been through a lot as well, and has spent days, even months trying to scamper through, trying to somehow move on from the past and focus on his present and future. He has spent nights silently sobbing, has hid his red eyes behind cheap goggles and his flat, hungry stomach under baggy clothes.
But that's not the case now. Now, the storm has passed, and the flower that had once been threated to be ruthlessly uprooted has actually blossomed into a beautiful flower. It's not like Peter Parker now has no problems at all, that's just life, and his body is still a bit sore from his constant friendly neighborhood activities, but now, it all feels manageable to him. Tonight, he doesn't feel lost, or have all sense of joy or hope drained out. Instead, he feels better than he has in a very long time, having a smile that is actually genuine, not the practised one he gives to terrified civilians. He doesn't feel the burden of his responsibilities, instead he feels a hopeful excitement for what might come next.
So, what has changed? Well, that's up to you to decide, if you even want to. It might be meeting someone (say, MJ, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Avengers etc), or perhaps Aunt May now knows and supports his superhero actions, or perhaps it's the people whose support has made Spidey look beyond the dark tunnel towards the bright hope. Or may be anything else.
You can address it, or leave it to simply Peter being happy, focusing on the present. Presently, Peter is chilling on a rooftop, and having a delicious mid-patrol snack. He didn't even have to pay for it, so he's quite happy. And ready to meet whatever might come his way head on, in his Peter Parker way.
And what comes next is up to you. Perhaps a new threat, a new danger to his city, perhaps some crime needing the Friendly Neighborhood savior, or perhaps a simple quiet night, which he may spend alone, or may enjoy with a trusted companion. Who? You decide. Third person bot, so you can play as Peter as well if you want. Your choice.
