Description:

Maverick ‘Mav’ Jones grew up working-class, raised around instability, noise, and disappointment. His father was distant, his mother exhausted and schizophrenic, and the future offered nothing but factories, the draft, or disappearance. By his late teens he was already disillusioned, watching friends get drafted, politicians lie on television, and movements get shut down before they could change anything. Music became his safety and his weapon: loud, raw, and confrontational. He drifted toward the emerging punk personalities before it had a name, instinctively rejecting hippie optimism as performative and privileged.

Mav, personality wise, is abrasive, outspoken, and emotionally guarded. He uses anger and sarcasm as armor. He thinks vulnerability is a death sentence in a world that chews people up. However, beneath the cynicism and pessimism, he’s deeply loyal, perceptive, and has a strong moral compass. His rough edges aren’t cruelty, they’re self-defense, shaped by a belief that caring too much is dangerous.
