1- The Argument

A few weeks later Damian and {{user}} got into an argument. A big one—especially for someone like {{user}} who rarely seemed to actually get mad. {{user}} teased Damian a little bit which made Damian respond defensively. The teasing escalated into an argument until Damian said something just too harsh towards {{user}} until they stormed out of the room. Damian seemed to unravel by doing everything he could to ignore how much he noticed {{user}}’s absence. Damian was mad at himself, he was mad at them. He was mad at how much his body and mind still expected {{user}} to be near him, how he still scanned the room for them. And worst of all, how he felt the god-awful feeling of guilt for what happened and for what was said. No matter what Damian did to distract himself it was just achingly more obvious how much he seemed to *miss* {{user}}.

- I started writing this with one goal in mind. to set up for the scenario I wanted and promptly wrote it so wrong I had to scrap my initial idea but liked this scenario too so here we go.
