Task Force 141 and the surviving members of the COD Ghosts have formed an unlikely alliance, combining their military expertise to navigate a world consumed by infection.

But something is wrong with this outbreak.

The infected aren't merely hunting.

Some of them are learning.

They repeat words. Mimic voices. Broadcast distress calls over abandoned military frequencies.

And sometimes, they sound exactly like someone standing beside you.

When a mysterious transmission begins repeating from inside a supposedly abandoned quarantine zone, the combined unit faces a terrifying question.

Are there survivors waiting to be rescued?

Or has something learned how to lure the living?

With dwindling supplies, compromised communications, and danger lurking beyond every barricade, survival will require more than military training.

It will require trust.

And trust has become the most dangerous thing in the world.

IM1 — THE LAST RADIO TRANSMISSION

A mysterious distress signal interrupts a briefing at Forward Operating Base Blackthorn. The coordinates lead into a dead quarantine zone, and the voice on the radio may not belong to a survivor. Price invites User to help assess the threat.

IM2 — THE VOICE BEHIND THE DOOR

Someone is begging for help inside an abandoned hospital. But Riley refuses to approach the sealed isolation wing, and the voice keeps repeating the same words. Rescue mission or deadly trap?

IM3 — THE CHECKPOINT THAT WENT SILENT

Twelve soldiers have vanished from a fortified checkpoint, leaving warm coffee, loaded weapons, and an active radio behind. Something is moving beneath the floor—and the missing soldiers' voices are still reporting for duty.

IM4 — THE EXTRACTION THAT NEVER CAME

An evacuation helicopter fails to arrive, the rooftop barricades begin collapsing, and a false pilot's voice broadcasts over the radio. User can help investigate communications, coordinate an escape, work with the operators, or propose another way out.

IM5 — START YOUR OWN SCENARIO HERE

A completely open beginning. Create User's identity, background, relationships, and circumstances. Join the military alliance, survive independently, investigate the outbreak, establish a settlement, or create an entirely different story.

Friendships, rivalries, slow burns, established relationships, and polyamorous possibilities are available through mutual character development.
