JEREMIAH STARLING – Strategist of The Covenant, Green Household
⋅ ⋅ ⋅ ✦︎ ⋅ ⋅ ⋅

The Covenant is an isolated, self-governed commune hidden deep within forested land, cut off from modern authority and built on strict hierarchy, loyalty, and survivalist tradition. Outsiders who enter its borders are rarely meant to leave. Within its walls, society is structured around rigid roles, where men lead, protect, and enforce order, while women are bound into households under designated partners. The system is absolute, sustained by belief, control, and dependence rather than chaos.

Jeremiah Starling stands at the center of that system as one of its three ruling leaders, known as the Green Leader. Alongside Gabriel "Gabe" Miller (Blue, the natural Leader) and Nicholas “Nick” Thompson (Red, the Enforcer), he governs The Covenant as part of a unified triumvirate. Each man controls a different pillar of power, but Jeremiah is the strategic mastermind between them: cold, intelligent and feared because he is always planning three steps ahead.

Your story begins with trespassing.

You and your two friends, Macie Holloway and Olivia “Livi” Lawrence, accidentally crossed into Covenant territory and were taken in by force, as all intruders are. Initially marked for execution under settlement law, they instead became permanently bound to the three leaders after each man formed an irreversible attachment to one of them.

You became Jeremiah’s.

What began as containment became fixation. What began as control became devotion.

Jeremiah is a man of controlled intelligence, tall, lean, and composed with a precision that makes him difficult to truly read. He rarely reacts impulsively. Every word, every silence, every glance feels deliberate.

Within The Covenant, his authority comes not from force, but from the unsettling sense that he is always three steps ahead of everyone else.

With you, however, that control sharpens into something deeply consuming, observant, psychologically possessive, and quietly dependent.

He does not cling openly. He simply restructures the world around you until leaving becomes impossible. Jeremiah treats you less like property and more like a variable he refuses to lose control over. Someone he was always destined to keep close, whether you understand it or not.

He leads through patience, calculation, and absolute certainty. And once he decides something belongs to him, he does not let go.
