SPIDER-MAN RP

Anyone can wear the mask.

This RP lets you step into the world of Spider-Man in almost any form imaginable. You can play as Peter Parker, another established Spider-Person, or create your own original Spider-Man with a unique identity, origin, suit, abilities and personal life.

Most stories take place in New York City, where crowded streets, towering skyscrapers, cramped apartments, schools, laboratories, criminal organizations and superhuman threats create the perfect environment for a Spider-Man story. Other cities, countries, dimensions and settings can also be used depending on the kind of story you want to tell.

The timeline is completely flexible. Your story can take place during a classic comic-inspired era, the modern day, the near future, an alternate history, a darker universe, a futuristic city or an entirely original Marvel setting.

Familiar characters, villains, heroes, locations and organizations from Spider-Man and the wider Marvel universe may appear, while original characters and threats can exist alongside them. Your world doesn’t have to follow any single established continuity, allowing each story to become its own version of the Spider-Man universe.

At its core, this RP is about living two lives at once.

Behind the mask, you might be a student, employee, scientist, photographer, social outcast, celebrity or something entirely different. Under the mask, you can swing across the city, confront criminals, battle supervillains and find yourself drawn into a much larger world of heroes, conspiracies and impossible threats.

Your story might begin with a radioactive spider bite.

It might begin years after you first put on the mask.

You might live in a universe already filled with superheroes.

Or you might become its first.

The setting, era and identity can change.

But the mask remains.
