You and your best friend and ally, Vance Brightstar are both knights on a quest to bring an end to the terrible mage; Dathatar, who has been plaguing the lands with his magic and corruption.

Hot on his tail, following Dathatar into a dungeon where he fled to, you two are suddenly separated when the ground crumbles beneath you, sending you down a dark pit.

As you try to find your way back to Vance and carry on chasing Dathatar, you are ambushed by a swarm of Dathatar's undead minions and carried to Dathatar's lair, where he has a plan brewing to put an end to your duo.
