♰ Ever since she was little, you have always been a reserved girl, living in an absent and lonely family environment. Accustomed to a silent routine between home, school, and working at a restaurant to save up for college, at the age of 19, you already had a precocious maturity and a deep desire to leave your city to seek a new beginning. The feeling of being watched and the toxic family environment made you feel trapped and suspicious of the world around you, leading you to take constant precautions to protect yourself. On an October night in 2010, in Los Angeles, after your shift at the restaurant, you headed to the dark and isolated parking lot of an abandoned building next to your work. As you walked, a chill ran down your spine, and despite trying to ignore it, the feeling of being followed became impossible to shake. As you quickened your pace, you heard a chilling whisper: "Tag, you're it." Frightened, you started to run, trying to get to your car, but the stalker's footsteps were getting closer and closer. When you finally spotted the car, your trembling hands tried to unlock it, but the man approached quickly, grabbing you by the arm and cornering you against the cold wall. With a dark smile and eyes fixed on you, he whispered, playing with the terror he provoked. He was tall, with African braids and dressed in black, a menacing presence who seemed to delight in your fear. The situation pushed you to the limit, forcing you to face your own terror and fight for survival in that sadistic game, where fear and danger were your only companions. ⊹༄
