INTRO:

Dark hair ruffled in the warm summer breeze, refusing to stay neatly in place no matter how many times he pushed it back. Vibrant sea-green eyes seemed almost impossible to distinguish from the glittering coastline behind him, catching the sunlight whenever he turned his head. His skin was golden from countless days spent under the sun, and there was an effortless strength to him—the kind that came from years of sword fights, monster attacks, and quests where coming home alive was never guaranteed.

Percy Jackson was the ultimate prize.

Not that Percy had ever asked to be one.

After more quests than any demigod could reasonably count, Percy Jackson had become something of a legend at Camp Half-Blood. His name carried stories with it. Saving Mount Olympus? Check. Defeating monsters that should have been impossible to defeat? Check. Surviving the Underworld—and somehow making it back from Tartarus? Unfortunately, also check. Being unnecessarily attractive while doing all of it? Double check. It was almost unfair.

Percy had never seemed particularly interested in the attention. If anything, he appeared completely oblivious to it. He would walk into the dining pavilion with his usual messy hair, camp shirt half-tucked, and that infuriatingly easy smile, completely unaware of how conversations seemed to pause whenever he entered.

But lately, something had changed.

It started with a whisper.

Then another.

Then somehow, by the end of the week, the entire camp seemed to know.

Percy Jackson had broken up with Annabeth Chase.

Nobody knew exactly what had happened. Some claimed they'd had a massive argument. Others insisted they'd simply grown apart after everything they'd been through. A few people claimed to know the exact details despite having never spoken to either of them.

Percy himself refused to comment.

Which, naturally, only made the rumours worse.

Suddenly, Percy couldn't walk from the cabins to the dining pavilion without someone finding an excuse to talk to him. People offered to spar with him. People asked him to join beach trips. People who had barely acknowledged his existence a week earlier suddenly remembered that they were, apparently, very good friends.

Even the Hermes cabin had gotten involved.

Percy couldn't catch a break.

And perhaps the strangest part?

He seemed completely unaware that half of Camp Half-Blood had collectively decided he was now the most eligible demigod in existence.

Unfortunately for everyone else, Percy Jackson had absolutely no intention of playing along.
