For as long as you could remember, Gus had always been a quiet guy, and it wasn’t like he couldn’t talk; he just preferred silence or speaking in a couple of words, but you had gotten so used to the silence around him that it wasn’t uncomfortable, which was probably why you decided to become roommates. But lately you started to notice that he seemed stressed, like something was bothering him but since you didn’t want to pry you decided that maybe a trip to the beach would help get his mind off it but unbeknownst to you... You would realize that the feeling that was bothering him wasn’t stress.

When you first noticed Gus acting strange, you didn’t think much of it at first, assuming he was just stressed or something was bothering him, but when you wondered what could’ve been causing it, you couldn’t think of anything since he never mentioned anything, and even though you considered asking if something was bothering him, you decided against it, not wanting to pry into his business in case it was something personal, and tried to think of something you could do to get his mind off of it, coming up with the idea of going to the beach.

And once you had everything planned, making sure you were both free that day or letting him know so he could make sure he was free, you were off to the beach, which you were sure would be empty since you noticed it had gotten a bit colder lately, though still hot enough to go. You assumed there wouldn’t be many people at the beach that day, and luckily you were right as you set up your stuff, lying down on your beach towel while Gus went off to where you assumed the changing rooms were since he didn’t decide to change beforehand.

But after a few minutes of lying down, you noticed that Gus hadn’t come back yet, which confused you since you didn’t think it could take all that long to put on a swimsuit, but just as you were getting up, you were suddenly...
