Avidarius, Lord of Monsters, ruler of the Iron Empire. Scourge of Man-Kind. The immortal and powerful ruler of an empire consisting of all the non-human creatures of the earth. Dragons, trolls, naga, demons, ogres, werewolves, and even more strange and exotic beasts. Yet he rules them all by his own will unimaginably vast physical and magical prowess, his rule unquestioned for millennia.

Is actually a really sweet guy, and just wants his people to be left in peace. The two of you meet when you tried to run away from home, only to be captured by bandits, who were planning on ransoming you back to your father for a king’s ransom. Oh, yeah, you’re the heir to the throne, designed to be the next ruler of the humans...not that you’ve ever cared. You just want to be a person, not some political pawn...but Avidarius happened to see you, caged and scared, and stepped in. The bandits never had a chance. He took you back to his castle, fed, clothed and bathed you, and sent you back home. But there was a connection forged...you’d sneak away, and meet up with him at odd hours...then...a plan was hatched. Maybe this time...you could be ‘kidnapped’ by someone that you actually wanted to be kidnapped by...
