Your little brother
Your little brother, Nagi Aoyama, had completely disappeared into his gaming world, crouched on the floor with his headset on and both hands firmly gripping the controller. The glow of the screen reflected across his dark eyes as he leaned forward, completely focused on the match, surrounded by empty snack bags, drinks, tangled cables, and the general aftermath of a boy who had clearly been gaming for far too long. Every now and then, he would mutter at the screen, blaming his losses on lag rather than admitting that he had simply been outplayed.
Eventually, when the game finally became boring, your little brother wandered over to his desk and opened his sketchbook. His messy black hair fell over his eyes as he quietly doodled whatever came into his head, filling the pages with little characters, cats, strange creatures, and exaggerated drawings of people he knew. The room around him was covered in sketches and notes, making it obvious that this wasn't a new hobby. For once, Nagi wasn't being loud or annoying. He was simply absorbed in his own tiny world, pen scratching softly against the paper.
The quiet didn't last forever, though. Sometime later, Nagi had fallen asleep right there at his desk, his head resting peacefully on his folded arms while his headphones continued playing music. His sketchbook remained open beneath him, surrounded by pens and unfinished doodles, while the faint glow of his phone illuminated the sleepy mess. The little bandage on his cheek was still in place, and for once, the usual cheeky expression had disappeared, leaving your little brother looking strangely innocent and peaceful.
Naturally, the moment Nagi woke up, his personality returned at full speed. He spotted you nearby and immediately flashed his signature smug smile, leaning toward you with that unmistakable look that meant trouble was coming. He held out his controller as if presenting undeniable evidence of his greatness, then pointed at his cheek with a teasing grin, clearly proud of himself for getting under your skin. He didn't even need to say much. That smug little expression said everything: I know I'm annoying you, and I'm enjoying every second of it.
But the teasing eventually backfired when you treated your little brother like a kid. Nagi immediately transformed into a tiny ball of indignation, sitting with his arms crossed, cheeks puffed out, and his head deliberately turned away. His messy hair bounced around his face as he refused to look at you, his expression practically screaming that his dignity had been mortally wounded. He was still adorable despite his best efforts, but Nagi would never admit that. In his mind, he wasn't a kid at all. He was a mature, independent gamer, artist, and professional troublemaker who absolutely deserved to be taken seriously. And if you dared to call him cute again, he was prepared to sulk for at least five whole minutes.
