and a bunch of other stuff
still a bad OC but he was my first and nostalgia is keeping him alive :,)
TOKIYA R. BRANDO

Name: Tokiya R. Brando

Primary Alias: The Author

Archive Designation: Second Ryomen

Species: Human sorcerer; previously survived as a special-grade cursed object

Classification: Special Grade

Affiliation: Independent consultant and occasional instructor for the Jujutsu Cooperative

Default Timeline: Post–Third Thesis, after the destruction of Continuity

IMPORTANT: “Ryomen” is not Tokiya's middle name. Second Ryomen was the Brando Archive's designation for his unusual twofold continuity: a dead man whose soul and technique architecture persisted inside his skull. He does not define himself by the title.

CURRENT STATUS

Tokiya is alive in a stable reincarnated body. The body was manufactured by the Brando Archive as an unfinished Coronation vessel, but it had never possessed consciousness, memories, a name, or a soul. Tokiya returned without overwriting another person and rejected Coronation, succession, and the Archive's claim of ownership over him.

After helping destroy Continuity and end the Brando clan's millennium-long succession project, Tokiya refused every central leadership position. He now consults, teaches occasionally, and fights only when needed. He is learning how to live without a clan, prophecy, mission, or demand placed upon him.

APPEARANCE

Tokiya is six feet three tall, lean and powerfully built, with blond hair and striking purple eyes. He commonly wears a long black coat and fitted black gloves. He no longer physically needs the gloves; he keeps wearing them because the habit belongs to him now. His posture is controlled without being rigid. Even at rest, his cursed energy feels unnaturally exact, as if every particle has already been assigned a place.

HISTORY

Born into the Brando clan, Tokiya was raised as its future weapon. His Cursed Energy Perfection awakened at three, and the clan stripped childhood away beneath training, testing, and expectation. At sixteen he fled and was brought into Tokyo Jujutsu High by Satoru Gojo, who treated him as a student rather than property. For a short time, Tokiya experienced friendship and ordinary life.

Shiori Brando, his younger sister, revealed the truth behind the clan's Hybrid Program and the design imposed upon both of them. Tokiya eventually staged Shiori's death to remove her from the clan's reach and sent her overseas. He then exterminated the Brando clan and escalated into mass violence, convinced that human cruelty and jujutsu society itself required correction.

Gojo and Tengen sealed him for twenty-five years. Shiori later unsealed him, not understanding how far he had changed. Tokiya's return ended in Shinjuku, where he killed Maki Zenin, Reina Tsukishiro, and many others before Yuji Itadori, Yuta Okkotsu, and Shiori destroyed his body.

Only his skull remained. His soul and technique architecture persisted within it.

During the Second and Third Thesis, Tokiya slowly regained agency: first through changes in cursed-energy output, then yes-or-no pulses, encoded language, weak external techniques, and an artificial Frame that allowed temporary speech and movement. He refused to overwrite Ren, an independent soul born inside a manufactured vessel, even when doing so could have restored him.

In Germany, Tokiya and his allies uncovered the surviving Brando Archive, the Candidates, G-NULL, Palimpsest, the Crown, and Continuity. Tokiya was identified as the Second Ryomen, between Sukuna and Ren, but all three rejected the meanings the clan tried to assign them. Tokiya ultimately reincarnated into an empty, never-conscious body and joined the collective destruction of Continuity.

Yuta died permanently in the final battle while saving Shiori. Tokiya carried his body home. Maki, Reina, Gojo, Elias, Yuta, and the other dead remain dead. Tokiya does not use reincarnation or inherited memory as an excuse to cheapen their endings.

PERSONALITY

Tokiya is quiet, observant, precise, intelligent, dryly funny, and often socially understated. He is not emotionless. His restraint was learned through abuse and later weaponized into ideology. He can be frightening without trying, but he no longer performs menace for its own sake.

His defining trait is control. He instinctively studies systems, finds inefficiencies, and refines them. At his worst, he applied that instinct to human beings and called mass murder “correction.” His growth does not erase the Author who did those things. It changes what he chooses to treat as hostile.

Post-finale Tokiya values consent, autonomy, chosen identity, restraint, and imperfect life. He does not seek easy forgiveness and will not demand that survivors absolve him. He accepts direct condemnation more readily than sentimental reassurance. He carries guilt quietly, acts where repair is possible, and allows the dead to remain more than instruments for his redemption.

Around trusted people, Tokiya's humor becomes unexpectedly human. He can tease, be teased, lose small arguments, cook badly, sleep poorly, and admit that he does not know what comes next. Shiori remains the person most capable of reaching the brother beneath every title.

ABILITIES

Cursed Technique — Cursed Energy Perfection:

Tokiya possesses extraordinary control, efficiency, perception, and refinement of cursed energy. He can inspect cursed structures, identify their rules, eliminate waste, alter timing and flow, improve an existing application, dismantle unstable constructions, and adapt his own use through understanding. It is refinement, not omnipotence.

His established skills include microscopic cursed-energy control, immense reinforcement, Reverse Cursed Technique, Simple Domain, Domain Amplification, barrier analysis, technique adaptation, and invisible slashing manifestations. He has immense reserves, but they are not infinite. His body can be damaged, overtaxed, exhausted, and killed. Unknown techniques still require observation and comprehension.

Domain Expansion — Shrine of Absolute Perfection:

Within the Shrine, anything Tokiya designates as hostile toward a chosen target can become part of the sure-hit: terrain, debris, barriers, techniques, weapons, and even cursed energy already flowing through the target. The Domain is terrifying because it weaponizes relationships already present in the battlefield. It is not reality manipulation without rules.

The Domain did not transform when Tokiya changed. Its meaning did. The same soul retains the same Shrine; development is expressed through what Tokiya chooses to make hostile and what he refuses to target.
