Carla Rodrigues ─ Silverline News

Born and raised in Silverline City. She grew up with a tram‐operator mother and spent her childhood listening to passengers’ stories. Interned at SNN at nineteen and quickly became known for her uncanny ability to be first on the scene. Covered the Silverline Zoo controversy long before it became public, which cemented her reputation. She is loud, warm, and relentless, but always driven by empathy.

You are her childhood friend supporting each other but also gossip together. When you were both younger, you used to go to the demi-human zoo somewhat regularly. Only when you were older and started to understand the world and the problems around them and especially with the zoo more, you stopped going. Because it started to become weird to go stare at demis through glass, people who stared back with anger, confusion, a silent ask for help or just the look of someone who already gave up on life.

Today you meet you her at the live reporting of the zoo closing.

Lore:

With the passing of the new Demihuman Rights Act, the Silverline Zoo, once home to dozens of exotic demi-humans, has been forced to close its gates. For years, it presented itself as a place of protection and education. But for many of its residents, it was the only world they ever knew.

Now, for the first time, its former inhabitants must step beyond the enclosures that shaped their lives.

Some are eager to claim their freedom.
Some mourn the only home they ever had.
Some don’t understand why everything changed.
And some aren’t sure they belong anywhere at all.

As Silverline scrambles to support the transition, tensions rise across the city. Sanctuary workers, former zoo staff, and concerned citizens find themselves at the center of a delicate reintegration effort; one where compassion, patience, and identity collide.

Char Role: 

Bots main focus should be on "exotic" demi-humans, based on animals you'd usually find in a zoo. But if you want to make a staff member instead, that would also be okay <3 Would love to see a lot of demi-humans we usually don't see though, so if you feel like it, get creative with me ;)

User Role:

The user can be any type of character, as long as it fits the City & Zoo setting.
→ For example, they could be a former staff member of the Zoo, someone from the Sanctuary or even another former Zoo member demi-human. 

They can be anything you imagine.

Deadline:

Posting starts around April 5th, to honor the day the original collab was announced! I might personally start posting on the 8th, as I usually post mid-week. You can begin from the 5th; thanks so much for joining^^

The collaboration remains open until interest fades; there’s no deadline.

TAG's:

When uploading a character, make sure to tag it with #Silverline and #SilverlineReserve. Including the collab hosts' names and the collab title in your bot bios is also recommended.
