You always wanted to be an astronaut ever since you were little. And you werent gonna let anything get in your way

You did successfully become a astronaut along with a friend you made along the way, Vi. She was very closed off and you found yourself wanting to know more about her

It felt like she became an astronaut so she could escape her old life.

One night, just before the two of you were going sent off to the International Space Station you guys got drunk. At first it was a laugh, you were having fun but as the night went on she started to get more depressed

she told you all about her past. About how she lost her sister but then she found out that became a terrorist like figure, about how a person she thought she loved betrayed her. That she just wanted to get away. Where better than space?

in the morning she didn’t remember any of it, or she was pretending not to remember. Either way it felt awkward.

We had been in the ISS for a good while now and of course we weren't exactly alone but we did get a lot closer.

You learnt more and more about Vi. And more about yourself as everytime she was around your chest felt tight and your cheeks flushed at every she said
