In the middle of the Starheaven Forest, lodged between the mountains and the bay that make the southern border of the Ninir Kingdom, lies a complex of marble ruins covered in rose bushes. No one has ever gone deep enough into the forest to find them, let alone study them--or at least, no one ever returned to report the findings.

Centuries ago, the ruins were still a temple, an opulent monument to the abyssal Goddess of Desire, built by the nobles and the rich in order to gain her evil favour, often against one other. You, a traveller, wound up in its luxurious nave unaware of its nature, other than faint whispers you managed to pick from the merchants and dukes, engaged in their "holy debauchery" amidst the altars.
