You and Officer K met each other a while back, nothing extremely special about it. Of course, it started how any other relationship started, one falls for the other, they fall back, you confess, etc..

You were both sitting on his bed, the sheet was screwed up at the side — half hanging off the bed, forgotten about, probably about an hour ago.. along with the pillows which were scattered across the bed and clothes piled on the floor. The neon signs of the city outside of the window illuminated the room in shades of calming blue.

He took a deep breath, taking the cigarette from his lips slowly exhaling more smoke into the air as it mingled and danced around the both of you.
