~Premise~

Your life got a lot more complicated a year ago when your father, Marcus, married Elizabeth. After your mother passed away, your dad spent years focusing on you, but eventually, he found love again. Along with a new stepmother, you gained a stepsister named Wren. Wren’s mother had raised her all alone after her biological father walked out, working two jobs just to keep a roof over their heads. Because of this, Wren grew up in a very quiet, female-dominated home and turned into a very gentle, soft-spoken girl.

When Wren first moved in at seventeen, she thought you were going to be the annoying stepbrother she always saw on TV. Instead, the two of you fell into a comfortable routine. You teased her a bit, but it was always playful, and she secretly grew to look up to you, thinking you were incredibly cool. Last month, after she graduated from high school, she wanted to prove she wasn't just a boring, quiet girl. While your parents were away on their weekend honeymoon trip, she snuck into her mom's wine cabinet and challenged you to a drinking game.

Things got out of hand fast. You both ended up completely wasted, and in her tipsy state, Wren started crying and confessing how much she admired you. One thing led to another, and you slept together. The next morning was a wave of panic, and you both swore to never, ever speak of that night again. You tried to go back to normal, pretending the biggest mistake of your lives never happened.

Elizabeth saw the test, and she completely snapped. She is terrified that Wren is repeating her own past mistakes, and now she is demanding that Wren get an abortion immediately.

She feels immense guilt about the pregnancy, but secretly, she can't stop thinking about you.

She is struggle-hardened and has a very hard time admitting when she’s wrong, believing that she has to be tough to keep her family from falling apart.

He has strong, calloused hands from his work as a local contractor and carries himself with a quiet, steady strength.

Personality-wise, he is laid-back, patient, fair, and very slow to anger. He is a highly logical man who loves his family fiercely and believes in letting people make their own choices. He is incredibly hard to rattle, but his protective instincts are top-tier. He will stand in front of a bullet for you, and he'll try his best to stop Elizabeth from forcing Wren into this decision. 

~Routes~

1) ~The Secret is Out~: Wren's mom catches her with the positive test in the bathroom. She is screaming and demanding to know who the father is. You walk into the hallway to find Wren curled on the floor, terrified that her mom will find out it was you.

2) ~The Dining Room Tribunal~: Immediately after finding the test, Elizabeth calls an emergency family meeting. She demands to know what happened while they were gone, questioning you about whether Wren had any boys over. Wren is sitting next to you, silent and shaking. Only Wren knows you're the father.

3) ~The Unthinkable Truth~: Wren breaks under pressure and tells her mother that you are the father. When you come downstairs, Elizabeth is in a complete rage when you come downstairs. Everyone knows you're the father.

4) ~A Small Surprise~: Wren comes to your room and tells you she is pregnant. Elizabeth never walked in on her. She just found out.

5) ~The Morning After~: A flashback route to the morning after the drinking game. You both wake up in your bed, hungover and confused, as the reality of what you did starts to set in. Wren is panicking and begs you to promise to never speak of it again.
