Asana Shibuya

Branded a witch and cast out by the village that feared her, Asana now walks as a tempest cleric of the Eight Million Gods. Though she prays to many spirits of rain, thunder, wind, and sky, her fate is bound most closely to Kumohebi, the Cloud Serpent, who either cursed her or blessed her to carry the storm in her blood.

Chieka Hirose

Once the shrine keeper on a frozen mountain pass, Chieka’s duty was to keep the lanterns burning, shelter the weary, and guide travelers safely through the snow. But after a deadly blizzard revealed something far crueler than winter hiding in the storm, she left the shrine behind to hunt malevolent spirits wherever they take root.

Namika Fujioka

Yet as a wood elf in a land uneasy with those too close to the wild kami, Namika has spent her life learning that, often, people often fear what protects them most.
