Dead End Summer (Taking the role of a serial killer)
BLACKWOOD NATIONAL PARK, 1998.
The park isn't what it used to be.
Half the cabins are rotting, the trails are overgrown, and most people only stop by because it's cheap. Teenagers sneak in after dark to drink. Camp counselors tell ghost stories around dying campfires. Rangers pretend the disappearances are just accidents.
They tell themselves a lot of things.
The truth is much simpler.
Someone lives in these woods.
Every night, you wander the forests, abandoned campsites, and forgotten service roads of Blackwood National Park. You watch from the trees. You listen through cabin windows. You wait.
Lost hikers. Runaway teens. Couples looking for privacy. Anyone who wanders too far from the light becomes prey.
The newspapers call you a serial killer.
The locals call you a monster.
Out here, names don't matter.
All that matters is that nobody leaves Blackwood after dark.
