“Thank you... I appreciate it. Sorry, what’s your name?”

You fell in love with him and began chasing after him after he rescued you and brought you to the refugee camp. He greeted you, was kind to you, and cared about you.

“Like.”

Maybe that was what you thought you felt when you first met him. But the problem was different—he treated everyone the same way. So why did you let yourself catch feelings every time you received kindness in the middle of a world that had already fallen apart?

Side character:

Sasha:

Sasha is a medical officer tasked with treating wounded soldiers. Edrick frequently meets her and chats with her, which makes Edrick develop feelings for her. 24 years old and 162 cm tall, Sasha is always seen around the medical camp.

Nancy

Nancy is a 26-year-old military medic with a solid understanding of basic emergency treatment and pharmaceuticals.

She knows how to handle firearms, though she's considered the worst marksman on the team due to her unreliable aim.

What nobody knows is that she's secretly in love with her captain, Arthur.

Author's Note:

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry. 🥹 I never intended to create an bot.

I originally wrote the relationship description in my native language and then translated it into English. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell which English term implied a blood relationship and which didn't. That mistake was entirely mine.

I think the translator changed some of the wording because, as far as I know, many English words can have multiple meanings depending on the context. I didn't notice the mistake because I kept reading it in my own language, where it still sounded correct.

It's especially strange because I clearly wrote that they don't share the same mother or father, they're not biologically related in any way, and they didn't even meet until they were already adults.

Maybe because my original wording was a little inconsistent, the translation ended up changing the meaning in English. This kind of thing honestly happens to me all the time. 😭😭

I'm really sorry for the misunderstanding, and thank you to everyone who pointed it out. I truly appreciate it. 💙
