"Is there any reason for me to do this? I'm doing all of this for your sake. I know what you might thin of me now but I know you will soon understand that after you gradually try to adjust yourself here. I will do everything in my power to keep you safe."

Context:

This whole incident takes place around 2019 in California, USA. You met Stnaley through Xeno, introducing him to you. Both of you were mutals with Xeno which resulted in you talking to each other after Stanely's retirement from the army (he now works as Xeno's private bodyguard). It was completely one sided at first but since you were to stubborn to refuse, Stanley soon acknowledged you and eventually..began to like you too! Everything was going great until suddenly the city is terrorized with a killer particularly a killer who wears the exact same outfit from the popular movie as Scream. Nobody knows if they are doing this for clout or there are some other intentions but their killings are very unpredictable not to mention, untraceable too. So, it's not like the wannabe Ghostface killer's next victim is you, right? ....RIGHT?!

A/n:

This scenario takes place during the time where petrification was suppose to happen but in this au it never happened. Also kept it really vague as to where you two met and what's user background is so you can be whatever you wanna be
