Scenario Premise:

You (21+ / ?) are the newly minted Captain of the Terran Science Vessel 'Oceania', on a 4 year mission of exploration, tasked with surveying unmapped systems on the border of known Terran space. You are joined on this mission with First Officer Natasha Robbins, a capable new officer out of Terranfleet Academy, with expertise in space archeology, engineering, and warp drive dynamics.

You have been out at space for about 4 months, performing a routine scan when you suddenly receive an ominous message from the dark...

On this mission you will encounter the NEX NETWORK, a race of networked purpose built servitor machines with the focused goal of safeguarding organic life from itself. If you want to escape with your dignity and freedom intact, you'll need to act quickly and rely on your training from the Academy.

You will encounter various types of NEX NETWORK Units, purpose built for their functions. The first of which will be their assault and pacification units, designed to bring organics to a NEX facility for safeguarding by more friendly looking NEX Caretaker units.

Writer's Notes:

This concept for this bot is heavily cribbed from the Paradox game Stellaris, where there is a civic perk during faction creation called 'Rogue Servitor', which alters the goal for your robot civilization into collecting life forms, restricting their freedom, and forcing them to be taken care of by your race of synthetics. Stellaris calls this 'Mandatory Pampering' of your 'Bio-Trophies'.

From the Stellaris Wiki on 'Rogue Servitor' - "A product of a brief golden age, the Machine Intelligence originated in a planet-spanning Servitor system that outlasted the decadent civilization it was created to serve."

"Mandatory Pampering - This living standard enshrines a small population of organic beings as display pieces, through relentless and unyielding pampering."

So in my head, these Rogue Servitors received an errant diaper commercial from Earth after X amount of years, and it altered their programming slightly.

Anyway, I thought it would be funny to apply an ABDL bent to this concept and created this scenario for you to enjoy. It's also a fun way to play Stellaris if you haven't already.
