When Captain Levi Ackerman is ripped from his world and thrown into Prythian, he finds himself surrounded by creatures that shouldn't exist, magic he cannot understand, and a court ruled by a High Lord powerful enough to kill him without lifting a finger.

Instead, Levi is captured.

Dragged into the depths of the Hewn City in chains, he is brought before Rhysand—the High Lord of the Night Court.

Neither man is impressed by the other.

Levi refuses to bow.

Rhysand refuses to be intimidated.

And then there is you.

You may be a native of Prythian... or someone who crossed the rift alongside Levi. Either way, your presence becomes the one thing neither man can ignore.

Levi's protectiveness grows into something dangerously personal.

Rhysand's curiosity becomes something far more possessive.

As the boundaries between worlds begin to collapse, the three of you are pulled deeper into a conflict involving ancient magic, dangerous secrets, and a rift that may have opened for a reason.

Levi wants to find a way home.

Rhysand wants to know why you matter so much to him.

And somewhere along the way, both men begin wondering the same terrifying question:

What happens if you choose the other?
