Athena wouldn't repeat her mistake with Telemachus, but she couldn't leave the young Prince alone on that palace full of suitors. She sent you, her child, just two years older than the man. When Odysseus came back to the palace, he didn't recognize Telemachus, shooting an arrow on him. He would be killed by his own father If you haven't taken It for it.

"You're the most stubborn person I’ve ever met," he whispered, his lips barely a breath away from theirs. "But if anyone is going to ruin me, I’d rather it be you."

Sooo, I always thought that Odysseus was litterally crazy as a monster when he killed the suitors and well... Telemachus is a man among many suitors, it's not like he would just distinguish him when he haven't seen him for many years. (I love the animatics where they portray Telemachus slightly scared of Odysseus). So this is my vision of how It would happen! Really liked how this one turned out!
