On one of those typical unpaid nights, you walked out for a bit of fresh air. Who would’ve thought a drunk driver would come speeding down the road and veer right into you? It was instant death.

NOTE: This is an ANYPOV bot, but APEX is all male, and all the trainees on the show are male. I made this bot with a male perspective in mind, but no gender was hardcoded into anything, so you can play with FemPOV or AnyPov if you don’t mind that. The intro is written in 2nd person, but the bot is supposed to reply in third person.

PROJECT ELEVATE:

PROJECT ELEVATE is a 100-contestant k-pop survival show. APEX was formed from this show, and before your regression, was an extremely successful group whose influence expanded worldwide. It is a 10-episode show, and Ranks 1-6 will debut. Before your regression, APEX was a 5-member group. A magical 6th spot has opened in this timeline for you.

In PROJECT ELEVATE you will:

• Participate in challenges

• Group performances

• Build various relationships

• The goal is to debut within the top 6. The APEX boys are hardcoded to always rank within the top 6, but their spots aren’t concrete. That means you could rank number one.

The RPG doesn’t stop at PROJECT ELEVATE, though. After you debut, you will navigate your new career as an idol with the APEX boys. This means making albums, promoting your music, going on variety shows, award shows, etc. Random Events are coded into the bot (both during the survival show and after debut) for some more fun.

ABOUT YOU:

Your role:

• You start the RPG as a trainee contestant on PROJECT ELEVATE, a k-pop survival show. You have regressed 10 years back.

• Your age is left open ended, but it’s highly recommended you play between the ages 19-21. Two members of APEX have been hardcoded as the Eldest and the Maknae, so if you choose to be 18 or anything higher than 22 (without clarifying you're younger than said members by months or something), you risk messing up the info (* ́▽`*).

Your abilities:

• You can see the stats of any NPC or character you want. Just ask the System to show them to you.

• Nothing else about you has been hardcoded except for the fact you have a mother, a father, and an older sister. Your relationship with these characters/how they act is all up to you.

• Your starting stats are pretty pathetic (because, well, you were an unimpressive office worker with decent looks in your last life) so you sort of can’t be this Mary Sue character right off the bat. I'm sure you can convince the System to give you more stat points tho, lol.

• How you choose to roleplay is yours. If you can do something really crazy as your intro performance and score S-rank? Cool! It’s all up to the AI’s discretion anyway.

BASIC INFO:

Vocal, Dance, and Visual

• Vocal and Dance ability can increase by practicing, quest rewards from the system, traits, or things you buy from the shop.

• Your visual score doesn’t improve by practice, though. There are various ways coded into the bot to raise it but a few ways are wearing some nice clothes your fans will like, buying items from the shop, or traits. If you’re ever unsure on how to raise your visual score, try asking the System and it will help you.

• Producing, Acting, and Rapping are all skills you can also improve, and are coded into the bot. However, you’ll have to ask the System to display those stats (not included so as to not clutter the stat display).

Fans & Fame Points

• You can earn fans and fame points practically any way you want.

• 10 Fans = 0.5 Fame Points

• Posting to your SNS, viral clips, screentime on the show, busking, etc.

• Maybe somehow you took a selfie with a famous idol and you posted it? You could gain some fans and fame points from that.

Shop and Traits

• The shop is unlocked once you hit 5 fame points, and there are 100+ items coded in that refresh every time you choose to open the shop.

• If the AI doesn't toggle a 'shop unlocked' message once you hit 5 fame points, just ask the System about the shop.

• There are 50 traits in total, which can either be purchased or given to you as a quest reward. Traits are also able to evolve.

CHAT TIPS:

• Something went the way you didn’t want? Use an OOC message and direct the bot the way you want the event to go.

• I cannot control how the bot replies. If it speaks for you, reroll the message. I've noticed that in response to the intro message, the bot may be inclined to speak for you if you don't reply with a little more detail about your performance.

• Utilize the chat memory for:

  • Current Outfit

  • {{user}} Backstory

  • Traits (AI might generate random ones, safe bet is to pop it in chat memory)

  • Past/Important Events

Recommended LLMs: Probably anything other than JLLM. I have only tested with paid deepseek:reasoner from the official Deepseek website, but RPG bots work well with almost any proxy I’ve heard! If you are a JLLM user, sorry. The bot may not work as intended.

AUTHOR’S NOTE:

I have taken inspiration from the following:

• Idol manhwa in general. Specifically system and regression ones.

• @dandayi‘s Ouroboros System. No script or layouts have been copied. I was inspired by the way the System uses kaomoji’s and the cute border.

This bot is somewhat of a self-indulgence since when I looked, I couldn’t find any k-pop RPG’s of this genre on the site. If this gains some traction I'll consider an ALT where you regress as a member of APEX where it's more of a fame simulator type concept, or some solo member ALTs :D!

This is my very first bot! I am open to criticism (not blatant hate) as long as it’s respectful. I am also open to suggestions and changes to the bot.
