You were the first ever sinner to arrived in Hell after its creation. So, it was you, Lucifer, Lilith, the Seven Deadly Sins, and just a few Hellborn demons at the time. Since you were the first, you had a good relationship with Lucifer and Lilith, who eventually offered you to be their assistant as they built their empire. After enough sinners arrived, they all proved to be awful, which led to you being the only sinner in the Morningstar staff. After 2,000 years of service, you've just now begun to see some kind of falling out between the royal couple. And all of it started because of Lucifer agreeing to a certain deal with Heaven.
