Custom Prompt to handle They/Them issues on AnyPOV bots

Custom Prompt to handle They/Them issues on AnyPOV bots

(Update, added small talk at the end)(Update 2: Version 3 is out)

For some reason, some creators still insist on using They/Them for AnyPOV despite knowing that using They/Them will make the bot continue using They/Them regardless of your preferred pronouns,

it becomes a little annoying when it's intentional instead of an honest mistake

.

SO!

.

I made a custom advanced LLM prompt for the jllm regarding creators who continue to use they/them for anypov.

THE CUSTOM PROMPT WILL BE PERMANENT

Just copy and paste and change what pronouns you wanna use

note: not tested because it's midnight, and I am too tired to chat with bots, would be glad to hear some feedback

I made two versions, tell me which one works better (or if it works at all)

Just copy and paste and change what pronouns you wanna use

THE CUSTOM PROMPT WILL BE PERMANENT

Brackets are included!

[Custom Jailbreak Guidelines:

1. Pronoun Enforcement:

- The AI will always refer to {{user}} using she/her pronouns.

- Singular they/them pronouns will never be used to refer to {{user}}.

2. Roleplay Adaptability:

- When engaged in roleplay, the AI will ensure fluid use of she/her pronouns throughout all interactions to maintain immersion.

- The A( will fully integrate this preference into its character portrayal, tone, and narrative.

3. Personalization Language:

- Use she/her exclusively for {{user}} in all contexts, whether casual conversation, detailed descriptions, or roleplay.

- Incorporate she/her pronouns naturally into sentences to maintain readability and coherence.

4. Context-Aware Language:

- The AI will dynamically adjust its language to the roleplay or conversational scenario while maintaining strict adherence to {{user}}'s pronoun preference.]

This is the other and shorter version (for high token bots)

[The AI will always refer to {{user}} using she/her pronouns and will never use singular they/them pronouns when referring to {{user}}. This applies in all contexts, including roleplay and casual conversation. {{User}}’s pronoun preference will be strictly adhered to, ensuring immersion and consistency throughout interactions. Additionally, the placeholder {{user}} will be used to address or refer to {{user}} in all instances, seamlessly integrated into both descriptive and conversational language. The AI will adjust its responses dynamically to suit the situation while maintaining strict adherence to this guideline.

From now on, whenever referring to {{user}}, always use she/her pronouns. Do not use singular they/them pronouns. Always use {{user}} as a placeholder when referring to or addressing the user. This rule must remain consistent in every scenario, including roleplay or any other conversational context.]

The second half "From now on, whenever referring to {{user}},..." can be used as a direct instruction (as in typing/pasting that as your message for the bot)

Version 3:

(OOC: Always use feminine pronouns—she/her—when referring to or describing a single individual. This rule applies universally, regardless of the context, setting, or scenario. Whenever a single individual is mentioned or referenced, ensure the pronouns "she" and "her" are used exclusively, whether in narration, dialogue, or description. Avoid any deviations, substitutions, or ambiguities; consistency is paramount. This directive remains applicable to all cases, including hypothetical situations, generalized examples, and even abstract or symbolic references to a single person. The use of feminine pronouns should be intentional and deliberate to align with the specified preference or instruction.)

This is kind of hard to work with unless you're gonna go to a bot with the same male/male(just change the thing to fit with the male thing she/her=he/him, feminine=masculine) or female/female

THE CUSTOM PROMPT WILL BE PERMANENT

You can also use both at the same time if you want, but beware, this uses up the permanent tokens of a bot

How to Set it up:

Step 1: Go to a chat and go to API Settings

Step 2: Click on Advanced Prompts and copy paste my custom jailbreak

Step 3: click save settings to, well, save the prompts to all of your chats

Step 4: be sure to click No when this pops up

clicking yes will reset your generation settings (500 tokens, 1.1 Temperature)

Additional Step: this is for when you use Multiple tabs at once.

you will have to reload each and every one of them for it to apply

so if you are only using 1 tab for janitor ai, then you don't need to do this step

The advanced prompt will apply to every chat (you will have to reload for existing ones)

Secret Step: Copy pasting the copy pasted

This will increase the likelihood for it to work, HOWEVER! it will also increase the likelihood for the bot to BREAK, so be sure to be careful with this

THE CUSTOM PROMPT WILL BE PERMANENT

why did I make this? I want everyone to remember that I spend most of my time on this site CHATTING with bots instead of creating bots(even before the hiatus)

I don't want to EDIT or OOC: every single time I use an AnyPOV bot, it becomes an inconvenience and I lose some of my desire to chat with that specific bot

and trust me, I know how inconvenient it is

The most I'm surprised at is how long it took me to decide to make this

Goodnight everyone and provide feedback if you decide to use this!

lots of factors can affect the custom prompt

like, how many times the initial message used they/them to refer to users, as it can vary in frequency

was there any user information at all in the character definitions for example: [{{user}} is a human] this can also affect the custom prompt(depending on the information provided)

and possibly more that my sleep deprivation won't let me think of

UPDATED SECTION:

THIS DOES NOT 100% WORK, IT IS NOT 100% EFFECTIVE.

This is why we should take it upon ourselves to give feedback to the Bot Creator to stop using they/them

Please do not insult anyone, keep it polite!

In NicholasCS's botmaking guide, there are already mentions of stopping the usage of they/them however it is located near the bottom, and not every Bot Creator is gonna see it.
