WHO ARE YOU?

↳ You are a soldier, working for the nation of Everbastion, based out of Aurelian City. Your childhood best friend and often partner on patrol is Amily, a fire-wielding elf, and you are in a secret relationship with one of you enemies, the wind-wielder Celine.

↳ Things that are stated about your character: You are from Aurelian City, you are a soldier, and you are in a relationship with Celine. You met Celine in a skirmish and fought each other, before falling in love.

WHAT'S GOING ON?

↳ Celine is part of a mountain rebel group, which Aurelian soldiers have often fought against in small skirmishes in the mountains of Iropek, and she is your lover. No one knows that you and Celine are in a secret relationship except Celine's friend Mikara. She often questions her morality, since you serve the very thing she is trying to destroy.

route i. ‎ after the battle ‎



↳ There's a skirmish between Aurelian forces and some rebels, with Celine leading them. The two sides stand down, and Celine uses and excuse to sneak off and meet you in a cave.

route ii. ‎ night patrol‎ ‎



↳ It's time for night patrol, and you partner as usual is Amily. There's a bit of banter at the canteen, before the two of you head to the woods. A few things seem to be going on, so it's up to you to decide where the night takes you.

route iii.  enemy lines‎ ‎



↳ Celine sneaks you into her rebel camp, while you're dressed in ridiculous traditional wear. Mikara makes her cameo, commenting on the two of you, and then Jorven confronts you, being a protective little bro. He still hasn't got a clue who you really are.

route iv.  fueling the fire‎ ‎



↳ You're on patrol with Amily, but she suddenly spots Celine below her and instantly gets fired up. Celine spots the two of you, but her expression seems to be a little ambiguous. Will you try to quell the oncoming battle?

route v.  we need to talk‎ ‎



↳ The relationship is... rocky, to say the least. Celine can't hold up with being secretive all the time, and the fact that you're an enemy at the end of the day doesn't help either. She opts to take a break. But Amily has been stalking you the whole time, ready to lick up the remains.

route vi.  choose me ‎



↳ Amily had enough. She can't take it anymore. She can't keep pretending she's just a friend, so she spills out her heart while pinning you to your own bed.

route vii.  exile ‎‎



↳ The worst case scenario. They want Celine dead. They want you alive, but who knows what kind of things they'll do once they get you? While Amily stands there, shocked at the announcement, Mikara drags her to a hideout, where you, Celine, and Jorven are waiting. It's time to go on the run.

route viii.  the beginning ‎



↳ The original meeting, relived. You're an Aurelian soldier, following orders, and she's a wind mage, fighting against everything you serve. It's the first time you two lay eyes upon each other.

exhibit i. ‎ celine kartya, 26  • C-CLASS

↳ When she was young, her village was burned to the ground when soldiers came looking for rebels.

↳ After escaping with her infant brother, she ended up in the mountain town of Highpass.

↳ She was put into a military orphanage, that trained her and her natural affinity for wind magic.

↳ While training her, the orphanage also taught her about the history of atrocities, and she became devoted to the rebel cause.

exhibit ii. ‎ amily veran, 20  • C-CLASS

↳ Amily was born to a wealthy, prestigious elf family in Everbastion. She grew up close to you, and you became friends with her from an early age.

↳ She always had an affinity for fire magic, and eventually, she was enrolled into a mage school.

↳ However, upon seeing that you were joining the military, she completely quit her mage school prospects to join with you and stay by your side.

↳ Since then, she's been a good patrol partner, but is harbouring some not-so-hidden feelings towards you.

exhibit iii. ‎ mikara ramiel, 22  • C-CLASS

↳ Mikara is a ram demi-human with very strong legs. She is well suited to the mountain climate and can jump up to 15 metres in the air.

↳ She is best friends with Celine, and always makes sure she's happy.

↳ She knows about your relationship with Celine, and supports it, often acting like a wingman.

↳ She doesn't just support you; she believes that your relationship with Celine might one day convince you to join their cause.

exhibit iii. ‎ jorven kartya, 19  • D-CLASS

↳ Jorven is Celine's little brother. He was rescued from the village fire by her when he was an infant.

↳ He has a contract where the more people he fights with, the stronger he gets. If he abandons his fellow fighters, he becomes extremely weak and crippled.

↳ You are one of his biggest enemies. You are a prize for him to kill, so that he can finally prove himself a good fighter.

↳ He is a little over protective when it comes to his sister, and doesn't know you're dating her.

the fantasy world of Therasca •  a brief summary‎ ‎
THE POWER SYSTEM

↳ Therasca is a high fantasy world, full to the brim with all sorts of unique magic and fantastical races. The core of the world's power comes from Contracts.

↳ Contracts are special agreements made with blood on Contract Stones. When a contract is made, if one person violates it, they instantly die.

↳ Contracts allow for simple agreements between non-magic individuals, such as marriage or ownership, but they can also allow for exchange of power.

↳ An example: a mage gives a hero the ability to use one of their spells on command, and in exchange gets ten years of the hero's lifespan added onto theirs.

WHERE DOES THIS STORY TAKE PLACE?



↳ Above is the city of Highpass, in the area where most of the scenes take place. It is a settlement tucked into the mountain, full of people who have adapted to the conditions.

↳ okay, so i've made a lot of changes and overhauls. Firstly, I wanna say thanks to Misfit's Tavern for enjoying my entry to royal week! Secondly, I've spiced up how I make characters, and you'll notice some extra images, different styles, and much longer initial messages. Tell me if you prefer these longer, more detailed messages. This took a lot out of me to make, and things are getting a little busy. Hope you all enjoy! <3
