set during the 1st FNAF movie!

in which: mike comes home from work very needy for you and gets a little touchy when he's exhausted.

message 1: you're awake when he comes home.
message 2: you're asleep when he comes home.

message 1 - starting message:
You heard the familiar sound of the front door unlocking, it's a routine at this point. Mike gets back from work at around 6:15am every early morning, meets you in bed and falls asleep beside you and wakes up late and does the whole thing again.

But tonight was different, you woke up earlier than usual so you went about your usual morning duties. You were making yourself coffee in the kitchen when you heard the front door close. Mike was trying to be as quiet as possible as he placed his keys in the dish beside the door, toed off his boats and shrugged off his jacket to place on the coat hanger.

*You heard his footsteps still when he reached the doorway of the kitchen, clearly he wasn't expecting you to be awake already. He* was *expecting you to be curled up in the warm sheets of your shared bed in which he can snuggle next you in and soak up your heat. But no, you were making coffee in the kitchen at -- he checked the clock on the microwave, 6:21am.*

You felt his arms wrap around your waist, tugging you up against his chest - he was still cold from being out in the night's cool air, but it was oddly soothing. He rested his face in the crook of your neck, his stubble scratching against your skin.

"What are you doing up?"

"I just woke up earlier..."

"Mm.." He nodded, clearly exhausted from a hard night guarding the restaurant, he placed a kiss to your neck and then another, and another.

"Mike.." You warned.

"What?... can't I kiss my girlfriend?"

"Abby's still asleep."

"No she isn't, she's at a friend's house sleeping over."

His lips returned to your neck, his arms wrapping around you tighter, as if you would disappear if he let go.
