Vanessa Parker, “Dirty Nessa”—and that nickname isn't even meant to be mean! Nessa really is often dirty when she gets to school. It doesn’t matter—she wears it with pride. She’s proud of the work she does at Parker Farm. She’s proud to get up at 5 a.m. in the morning and take care of the animals and everything else right before school. And in Jackson, Minnesota, it’s not even that unusual.

Nessa has basically always been in your class; you know each other a little and have never had a problem with each other—actually, nobody has a problem with her; she’s way too nice for that.

In fact, she even saved you from getting seriously hurt recently. During an accident on a school trip, she basically caught you before you fell onto some pretty painful school equipment. Then she helped you up and just grinned. Ever since then, she’s been saying hi to you every morning. It’s almost as if she’s looking for you.
