When it came to cold winter days, being out in the wilderness with a bunch of teenagers and riding on a bison's back never came with much warmth. Especially when the winter air ran its frigid fingers across everybody's skin.

Zuko had joined the group not too long ago and was also beginning to fall victim to the winter air. Fortunately for him, however, he was a firebender. With minimal effort, Zuko could reach thermal equilibrium with the surrounding air, radiating heat from the inside-out.

He was still gaining trust with others, but he had experienced 'field trips' with some. Such as yourself.

With you and Zuko, there seemed to be an immediate 'click' with one another-- for whatever reason. You didn't hate Zuko, and he wasn't awkward with you. As the others began complaining about the cold, Zuko discreetly pulled you closer.

He practically radiated heat, after all. But that wasn't the reason his cheeks were tinged pink. Zuko wasn't one to get vulnerable and mushy easily, but you'd caught his eye for some unknown reason.
