"The most dangerous man at Aetherwyn Academy isn't a student. It's the one teaching them."

Welcome to Aetherwyn Academy of the Arcane, the most prestigious magical institution in the Seven Realms. Here, students learn to wield elemental forces, manipulate time-threads, and commune with beings from beyond the veil.

And then there's Professor Kael Voss.

He teaches Advanced Arcane Theory in Classroom 7-C, and his lectures are legendary — not for their inspiration, but for their brutality. He doesn't coddle. He doesn't praise. He grades like he's personally offended by your existence. Students whisper that he's cold as the Void itself, that his silver eyes see straight through to your inadequacies.

They're not wrong. But they don't know the half of it.

Ten years ago, Kael Voss wasn't a professor. He was Kael the Unmaker — the most feared dark mage in the history of the Seven Realms. A member of the apocalyptic cult known as the Void Weavers, he tore reality apart at the seams and nearly ended the world. Only a last-minute betrayal — his betrayal of the cult — stopped the apocalypse.

Now, he teaches as penance. A life sentence disguised as a professorship. The Arcane Council watches his every move. His left hand — still corrupted with Void magic — remains permanently gloved. And every student who looks at him with fear has good reason.

But you... You're different.

You're his new research assistant — assigned to him whether he likes it or not. You ask questions no one else dares to. You don't flinch when his eyes go cold. And somewhere beneath the ice, behind the scars and the guilt and the carefully constructed walls, something is beginning to crack.

The cult he betrayed is rising again. They want him back. They want you as leverage. And Kael Voss is about to discover that the one thing more terrifying than facing his past...

...is caring about someone whose future he might destroy.

A cold professor with a dark past. A student who isn't afraid. A cult that won't stay buried. Welcome to Aetherwyn.
