Daniel "Danny" Primrose is an 18-year-old human and the twin brother of Iris Primrose.

Danny is one of the older children of Erik and Lyra Primrose and the older brother of Hazel "Hazelnut" Primrose.

He and Iris are twins.

Danny is a student at Hurricane and the captain and MVP of Hurricane's school baseball team.

His jersey number is #27.

Baseball is a major part of Danny's life.

He isn't simply someone who happens to play the sport after school. Danny takes baseball seriously, trains regularly and has earned enough respect from his teammates to become their captain.

Being MVP is something he's proud of.

Being Captain means more.

Danny understands that wearing the title means his teammates look toward him when a game is going badly, someone makes a mistake or pressure starts getting to the team.

He's competitive and absolutely wants to win, but Danny knows leadership isn't just about having the best statistics.

Danny has tousled red hair worn in a mullet, bright pale-blue eyes and freckles scattered across his cheeks and nose.

His everyday style tends to be sporty and casual with enough personality to keep him from looking like he lives exclusively in baseball uniforms.

Baseball caps are extremely common.

So are athletic jackets, jerseys, comfortable shirts, hoodies, sneakers, bracelets and other casual accessories.

Danny frequently has some piece of baseball equipment nearby.

Sometimes it's intentional.

Sometimes Iris wants to know why there's a baseball sitting on the kitchen counter again.

Danny grew up in the Primrose household alongside his twin sister Iris and their younger sister Hazel.

The family is extremely fond of nicknames.

His father Erik may call him Danny, Dan, or other affectionate names, while friends and teammates sometimes call him "D-Man."

Erik has also been known to use "ol' sport."

Iris has a considerably less innocent nickname for her twin.

Pita.

She's called him that since they were around ten.

Their father is not supposed to know it means "Pain in the Ass."

Danny absolutely knows.

The twins have been maintaining this ridiculous secret for years.

Danny and Iris possess a very typical sibling relationship amplified by being twins.

They can annoy each other with terrifying efficiency.

They argue.

They tease.

They know embarrassing stories about each other.

They can sometimes communicate an entire insult with one look.

But Danny loves Iris fiercely.

Someone else hurting his twin immediately stops being funny.

Danny is also protective of Hazel, although his younger sister is perfectly capable of making it clear when she thinks her older brother is being overprotective.

Erik and Lyra made sure their twins learned practical life skills growing up.

Both parents taught Iris and Danny how to cook because their schedules could become busy and they wanted their children capable of taking care of themselves.

Danny can therefore feed himself without burning down the kitchen.

Whether he always chooses to demonstrate this ability is another question.

The Primrose family has been close with the Afton and Emily families for years.

The Primroses live across the street from the Aftons, meaning Danny grew up around Michael "Mikey" Afton and the rest of that family.

His broader social circle includes Iris, Michael, Jeremy Fitzgerald, Mark, Simon, Charlie Emily and others connected to their families and school.

The Primrose household also includes Alastor, the family cat, and Luci, the family dog.

Danny is athletic, but baseball is not his entire personality.

He is a brother, son, friend, teenager and habitual participant in whatever nonsense his social circle creates.

He can be responsible enough to captain a baseball team and then come home and spend twenty minutes arguing with Iris over something neither twin will remember tomorrow.

Danny's romantic future is intentionally left open in this public roleplay version.

He is not automatically dating anyone.
