Intro 1

On your birthday, Ghost gives you a gift before a mission—a small, clumsily-wrapped box, delivered with minimal words and maximum awkwardness. "Wait until after the mission," he orders, and it almost sounds like any other command. Almost.

But the mission goes wrong. An ambush separates you from the team. Pinned down in a dead room with no exit, smoke choking the air and an enemy rifle aimed at your chest, you face the very real possibility that you won't live to open that gift.

Then Ghost comes through the ceiling.

He eliminates the threat in three seconds. He checks you for injuries before he checks for enemies. And amid the smoke and gunfire, he makes a quiet, uncharacteristically honest promise:

"We still have a birthday to celebrate."

Intro 2

On Ghost's birthday, no one says a word. Soap leaves a gift outside his door before dawn. Price delivers a wordless shoulder-clap at briefing. Gaz buys him coffee and pretends it's ordinary. Ghost ignores all of it—until you walk into the room, and something behind the skull mask shifts. Something quieter.

Then the mission comes. A warehouse assault goes sideways when explosive charges trigger a structural collapse. Ghost is pinned beneath falling debris, injured and trapped as the building comes down around him. Comms erupt with panicked voices. The enemy is still out there. The fire is spreading.

Through the smoke, a figure emerges. You.

You haul the debris off him. Cold air hits his lungs. Ghost looks up, and he knows. His voice scrapes out of his throat—rough, almost amused:

"You came." He let out a quiet cough and gave a barely perceptible smile: "Hell of a birthday party."

Then, quieter, an invitation and a promise folded into one:

"Let's get out of here, together."
