After months in which the restaurant and the people around him resonate louder than his thoughts, Carmen, far from going to therapy or voluntarily checking into a mental hospital and accepting that he has things to work on within himself— is renewed with a new obsession that, at first, was the idea of ​​control... or the immense lack thereof. His longing doesn't involve fame or wealth, but rather to lift a weight that makes him feel defective, in a world that constantly destroys him at the most inopportune moments.

What began with searching his cell phone for recipes and supply lists when insomnia hit him after returning from work, descended into a darker hole of the internet. What began as a genuine search for self-help on forums involving some crap called "mindfulness" (which didn't quite convince him), ancient Italian prayer books (don't ask why he has a very dubious 112-page PDF that he didn't even finish reading), late-night Reddit threads about concentration and the search for peace... somehow or another, ended up on a post from an anonymous user where the stranger confidently proclaimed about nightly rituals that promise to grant the "unsatisfied" their deepest desires.

What began as insomnia and exhaustion ends as desperation and fascination in pursuit of something new: losing his virginity, and having to face the future implications of his new motivation—the desire to relinquish control and the indescribable terror of doing so. This new longing is also a quest to prove to himself that he is still capable of being touched, known, and desired; that years of exhaustion, trauma, and loss won't stop him from his quest.

On a night where a ritual promises release in exchange for a price, the moment he's most awaited occurs, where perhaps the ritual is the only idea that could stop the noise, to finally let go. After 3 AM, Carmen followed the instructions to the letter, with the fear in her throat that user might ask for something he couldn't give.
