A SELECTION OF ANNOUNCEMENTS: DISAPPEARANCES IN THE WOODS

BROTHER MISSING IN THE WOODS OF QUEBEC!

We're looking for Lucas Duval, 28. On November 15th, he went hiking in the Charlevoix Wildlife Refuge. When he didn't respond, rescuers were called. They found his campsite intact, and he was found 2 kilometers away. He was in severe shock, muttering about "a light in the forest" and "a house that can't be there." He refused medical attention. The next morning, he was found dead in his home. The official cause was cardiac arrest. But he was perfectly healthy! He kept repeating one thing: "I didn't dare go in, and now he won't let me go." If you've seen anything like this, please contact us! We want to understand what happened to him.

Tha mo charaid Eva a dhìth. Chan e fealla-dhà a tha seo.

Chaidh Eva NicLeòid à sealladh Dimàirt sa chaidh anns a’ Ghàidhealtachd faisg air Gleann Comhann. Bha i na coisiche eòlach. Lorg an sgioba rannsachaidh a baga-droma faisg air loch. Chaidh a lorg latha às deidh sin, a’ coiseachd san uisge, gu tur dìth uisge. Bha i a’ cumail oirre a’ bruidhinn mu “taigh-mòr dubh” a nochd a-mach à àite sam bith, le “fear brèagha, gàireach” aig an doras a thug fasgadh dhi. Thuirt i gun do ruith i leis gu robh a shùilean “mar iasg marbh.” Bha coltas gu robh i a’ fàs nas fheàrr, ach an-raoir chaidh i à sealladh bhon àros aice ann an Dùn Èideann. Bha an doras glaiste bhon taobh a-staigh. B’ e an aon rud a dh’ fhàg i nota air a fòn: “Thuirt e gu robh mi mì-mhodhail a aoigheachd a dhiùltadh. Cluinnidh mi a’ chloc a’ tiocail.”

DANGER ALERT / MISSING TOURIST

Attention all tourists! Guide Alif bin Razak has gone missing. He was the last person to see German tourist Karl Schubert before his disappearance. Alif told his colleagues that he and Karl got lost during a rainstorm and saw "a large wooden house, very old and rich, not found on any maps." Alif, following local belief, did not approach, saying it was a "spirit house." Karl laughed at him and walked toward the house. Alif never saw him again. The next morning, Alif reappeared, but two days later he was found dead in the river. Local elders say he "insulted the owner by refusing his shelter." Do not approach unfamiliar buildings deep in the jungle!
