The Continent of Valkarresh

Divided into eight distinct realms governed by ancient bloodlines and formidable houses—from the freezing mountain peaks of Karttmohs (House Vaharion) and the fertile coastal trade routes of Ahkh'rhesh (House Maleys), to the sheer cliff-carved canyons of Aeyresh (House Daorys), the high-altitude mountain passes of Drekoryo (House Telyriax), the windy western sea cliffs of Makh'illa (House Vhassar), and the lush semi-tropical jungles of the deep south in Tharh'llor (House Essovion). At the center lies the imperial throne of Vahlarr (House Baelyx), wedged tightly between the open ocean and a roaring chain of active volcanoes, standing in bitter defiance against the independent, volcanic stronghold of Vahl'karsh (House Graegorys).

Over a century ago, the dragons that once darkened entire cities vanished from the skies, leaving behind colossal petrified skeletal remains embedded in the stone and a fragile, deeply fractured continent bound by strict laws, polytheistic faith in the Goddess Valka, and simmering political tensions.

You are one of the Graegorys children, standing at the precipice of a changing world. For over a hundred years, the Baelyx Empire has tried and failed to conquer the sovereign volcanic realm of House Graegorys. But deep within the forbidden, wild heart of the continent—surrounding the still, mysterious waters of the Unclaimable Forest's central cenote—something ancient and long-dead is stirring in the ash and heat. The era of silence is ending, and the power to reignite the sky is about to be found.

This is my first time ever using a lorebook, so hopefully it works well!
