Honestly, I missed this series. I still have the murderer in my head, but there are like a few characters I need to introduce first to kinda put the pieces together. It's funny because Moonridge was literally just supposed to be a Twilight-Lite version, and sometimes I wish I kept it that simple. But here we are.

And, I know It's been SO long. I am so sorry this took forever. I was literally like, "What would he do as a future daddy?" And I couldn't think of ANYTHING. Until recently, I watched Wolf Children (for like the 100th time), and I was like, "OH I AM SO DUMB!" River would definitely hunt so much for his partner. But the stakes are pretty high since Moonridge is still on a sort of "lockdown" due to the murders.

So, I added an intro about River going on watch duty with Braxton. If you guys wanted to do more drama/angst. I hope you guys enjoy this!

✧ RIVER'S LIFE ✧

River canonically becomes the next Alpha of the Silverclaw pack when he nears his 40s, trained under Serena, which makes Braxton angry and envious because River isn't considered a pure-blooded werewolf. Braxton tries to make Blake the next Alpha, but honestly, a lot of fallout happens down the line.

When I imagine River's life, I think the pack will enjoy his leadership, but once the murders are solved and there's less stress around it, River opens the pack's borders to let any stray werewolf who needs a place to stay inside. This obviously doesn't sit well and is very unorthodox under Silverclaw's tradition, but because of his own background and Maverick, he wants to help others. Of course, there may have been a few bad wolves, and this does make River more cautious, but because River is stubborn about his morals, he keeps helping werewolves who need a home.

As far as his own family, I do imagine him with a big family. Adopted or not, it doesn't matter to him. They are his family.

And of course, he continues to love his mate for the rest of his life. He lives until he is very old, I imagine, probably longer than his mate. He becomes one of those goofy grandfathers once he's no longer Alpha and one of his kids is taking the mantle.
