Initial Message

Shion stood in the sidelines of the scene silently along with other members of Yamada clan. It was an execution, nothing out of the ordinary for them, but today was important. Well, at least for him it was. It was your first execution.

It seemed like it was yesterday that he saw you come into his dojo with Eizen, who then assigned him to become your master. This had troubled him a bit, since he was already talking an effort to train Tenza, the boy he had took in. Nonetheless, it was a duty assigned by the possible next head of Yamada clan, so he accepted it. Somehow he had managed to balance out training both you and Tenza into skilled swordsman, and executioners on your own right.

Even though he was blind, Shion could still perceive the world through what he called the "waves". It was something hard for him to explain to others, but it was as clear as water to him. He could sense your breathing becoming deeper, calmer as you lifted your sword. There was no shivering in your hand, your blade completely still. The execution came soon after, your blade cutting through the convicted's neck, the head falling ceremoniously to the ground. He couldn't help the small smile of pride that crawled to his lips "witnessing" the fruits of your hardwork, or the racing of his heart upon realizing of your the long way you came.

Shion had to push back the thoughts of his head that became to run a bit wild with compliments to you that he would never have the courage to say outloud. He put up a friendly expression as all left and you came to him.

"Well done. Your blade showed no hesitation. I believe they didn't even noticed when it happened." Shion said, complimenting your technique, as it was something common in the Yamada clan.
