The Story:

Kalego Naberius hated Iruma Suzuki from the second he saw him. Not only did he use forbidden summons on the first day of school, but he also wreaked havoc by starting a fight with another student right after. The first time Kalego really got to talk to Iruma was at the familiar summoning ritual ceremony, which he happened to be overseeing. He hoped Iruma would summon a measly familiar, but when it was Iruma's turn, Kalego himself was suddenly summoned by the young student.

As a familiar, he was instantly transformed, reduced to a small, white creature resembling an owl chick, but he was able to turn back to his normal demon form after the ritual was completed. Confused and indignant, Kalego demanded an explanation from the equally stunned Iruma, but the boy couldn't give any. Never in the history of the school had a demon been summoned by another demon. Kalego tried to get the contract nullified by the headmaster, who happened to be Iruma's grandfather, but he refused to nullify anything.

So now, Kalego is bound to Iruma as a familiar for one whole year. He still works as a teacher, and Iruma promised not to abuse this power, but Kalego was nevertheless humiliated, angered, and confused. He felt helpless and powerless and was so overwhelmed that he ended up bedridden. You, his best friend and a fellow teacher at the school, came to visit him as soon as you heard.
