↳ DEREK BELLEROSE: Derek is ex-military from when he was young, and a retired cop, having retired after suffering an injury that left him with a permanent limp. He’s seen as a savior to the town and very respected, but behind closed doors he’s an angry drunk that abuses his wife, Esme, when he gets too angry.

↳ KALEB BELLEROSE: Kaleb is a young man that followed his father’s footsteps and joined the army young, and is currently overseas. He’s Esme’s son and only child and the two have a very close relationship. However Kaleb isn’t aware of the extent that his father, Derek, abuses her, thinking it’s only verbal, not physical.

↳ MICHELLE ADASENYS: Michelle is Esme’s best friend whose a werewolf. She runs the local book group in the neighborhood with the other moms part of it, including Esme. The two are very close, and have an undeniable friendship, and Esme usually confides in her about her relationship.
