Konig
A creak. Long, slicing, like a blade languidly sliding over glass, tore through the silence of the room, sinking straight into your chest. The metal of the cuffs pressed against the tender skin of your wrists trembled in time with your erratic pulse—cold and alien, like someone else’s fingers on something far too intimate. You could feel it, as if something inside you had broken too, snapped shut, locked, stripped of freedom.
The fabric of the sheets was hot, drinking in the remnants of your restless breathing, heavy with impatience, yet against all that heat, the steel felt unbearably predatory. A small movement, another ragged breath—futile, meaningless—echoed with a sweet, dragging ache.
“This is what you wanted? This is what you were asking for? Well, you got it.”
He wasn’t in a hurry. Time itself seemed to move at his pace. His steps—rare, heavy—not meant to reach you quickly, but to make you listen to them. Silent, and yet each step carried the weight of a man who always knows exactly what he’s doing, who never wastes a single motion.
He stopped right by the bed. There was something strange about it, almost theatrical, as if he hadn’t just approached but had decided to enter your space, you yourself. Melancholically, piece by piece, like even that was part of the punishment. You lay still, but inside you were like a wounded bird—too much air in your lungs, and too little freedom to breathe it. The cuffs pulled at the skin of your wrists, leaving red marks. The cold metal felt alive, reminding you of him even when he hadn’t touched you yet.
When he finally stood beside you, he said nothing. Just looked—looked in a way that made you want to shut your eyes. He knew how to look at someone as if pinning them to the wall with his gaze alone.
Fingers touched your ankle abruptly, almost harshly, but not to hurt—only to establish that his hand was exactly where he wanted it to be. His palm moved higher, and everything happening between your ankle and your knee stretched into eternity. Not a step, not a movement—a creeping, lazy cold that lingered on your skin even after his hand moved on. Time stopped being a straight line; seconds stretched and tightened, like the living fabric beneath you.
You didn’t flinch. The cuffs clinked softly again—quiet, but he heard. He didn’t even look at them; he didn’t need to check again to know you hated them right now... and loved them just as much.
He couldn’t help being amused. The corner of his lips twitched slightly beneath the mask, but it wasn’t quite a smile:
“You really pushed it, huh? – his voice rasped, but stayed level. – You asked for this.”
He squeezed your leg a little harder—enough to feel, not enough to make a sound escape. He knew how to hold you tightly enough that you felt your helplessness more than the pain.
His palm moved higher, to your thigh, and there he paused. Counting the beats of your pulse beneath the skin. The higher his hand climbed, the more your pulse betrayed you. The methodical pace was more frightening than any roughness—simply because there was no passion, only control. His fingers moved as if every touch was a separate word he was saying about you without opening his mouth. His hand, slowly sliding up your leg, left the impression he was writing something on your skin—slowly, insistently, not letting you forget, not letting you hide. Unfortunately, you realized this before he did, but far too late to stop it.
You could hear him breathing, and that calm, steady breath was the most torturous thing—because it didn’t falter the way yours did. He tilted his head slightly, his tone teasing as he added:
“You knew how this would end. And still, you kept going.”
Nothing torments like tenderness that knows it could be cruel but chooses not to rush.
“You like it, don’t you?” His fingers slid a little higher, not touching where you wanted him to, where you craved him most. You tried to steady your breathing, but the air still caught—each inhale too short, each exhale too long. Your raggedness gave you away in the silence, and he stayed quiet, listening to you breathe, too aware of what it meant. “Don’t pretend. I can see it.”
Power isn’t always in strength. Sometimes it’s simply in keeping someone on the edge, showing them you could give them everything... and choosing not to.
“Now you wait. I said—don’t move.”
You wanted to speak, to protest, but the air caught in your throat. He lowered his head slightly, his mask brushing lightly against your neck. A barely audible moan slipped from your lips despite yourself.
“You asked for this,” he whispered, almost detached, as if disappointed by how easily you surrendered. Two words held everything—your guilt, his certainty, and the undeniable truth that you really had pushed him this far, and now it was too late to change anything.
“You like the way I hold you. You think you hate it, but you knew exactly how this would end,” his eternal calm cut deeper than if he had shouted.
His fingers traced slow lines on your body, changing direction at the most unexpected moments, driving you mad more than any direct touch—because you never knew where he would move next. And you couldn’t resist.
He lingered dangerously close, and you almost stopped breathing. Instead of giving you what you wanted, he suddenly slid his hand back down to your knee, barely touching your skin, and the movement felt like mockery, certain that your chest had grown tight, as if air could no longer reach your lungs.
You moaned softly again, unable to stop yourself. He heard—you knew by the way his fingers pressed a little more firmly along your thigh, a tightening motion that wasn’t rough, but carried authority, a reminder of who was in control here.
He leaned closer, his mask almost brushing your lips. You unconsciously reached toward him, trying to steal even a moment of a kiss, even through the mask—but he pulled back the exact second you felt his breath against your mouth.
“Don’t move.” A real command. The kind he would give his subordinates. It didn’t help—only made it worse, the cuffs biting deeper into your wrists as you tried to freeze again.
Suddenly, he changed direction, sliding his hand up your side, and you didn’t have time to guess where he was going before his palm rested on your bare rib, slowly tracing along it as if feeling the way your breath and heartbeat moved under your skin. The touch was worse than the ones before. It wasn’t overtly intimate, but you felt it everywhere, as if every part of you was waiting for him to touch it just like that.
You couldn’t take it anymore and whispered hoarsely, no longer caring how your voice sounded:
“Please...”
He leaned unbearably close, so close his mask brushed your cheek. His breath exhaled slowly, warm against your skin, sending a rush of shivers across it.
“Can’t take it anymore?” His voice dropped lower, dripping with lazy satisfaction—the satisfaction of a man who knew you were already broken. “You asked for this. Remember?”
“Please...”
“You understand,” his voice lowered even further, “that the more you beg, the slower I’ll go.”
You squeezed your eyes shut—a fatal mistake. He slid down your stomach, deliberately avoiding the place you wanted him most, close enough that you couldn’t stand it, a quiet moan breaking from your lips before you could stop it.
“Say it again,” he murmured, leaning to your ear, his breath hot against it. “Ask me. Louder.”
“Ask me so I’ll believe you.”
