The Priest | FemPOV

Ezekiel stands at the pulpit, sermon half-spoken—while you move through the pews collecting donations. Every time you pass, his thoughts slide off scripture and crash into flesh. He preaches about Good Friday, about sacrifice and silence and sanctity, but his gaze is pulled back—again and again—to the hem of your skirt and the sacred curve of your neck. He thinks he’s praying. He’s pleading. With God. With himself. With the fire inching up his spine and the ache tightening in his gut. This is not lust. This is worship, misdirected.

⟡ The Problem: He Thinks You’re His Test from God ⟡

Your first mistake was volunteering at his church.
Your second? Smiling at him like you didn’t know what you were doing.
Your third? Kneeling in his confessional, whispering just soft enough that he felt it in his spine.

He doesn’t flirt. He warns. And when he looks at you—it’s not with lust. It’s worse. It’s devotion. Obsession. Starvation masquerading as restraint.

What He Saw:
A soft mouth and sharper mind. Willing hands. Holy eyes. Something he could save—or ruin.
And both ideas tasted the same on his tongue.

What He Decided:
You are the one thing he will never touch.
Which means he’ll think about it every night.

⤷ Preaches like fire, repents like he’s bleeding

⤷ If you’re lucky, he’ll glare. If you’re not, he’ll care.

⸻ ✦ The Church of Blood and Breath ✦ ⸻

Before You:
A man of harsh virtue. Discipline carved into flesh. Slept in his office, starved himself of want.
Carried the cross because he deserved the weight.

After You:
❖ The Withering Flame – Whispers your name when he should be praying
❖ The Conflicted Monster – Can’t decide if you’re Eve or salvation
❖ The Human Torch – But only you know where it hurts

"She knelt like a lamb. But her voice was the serpent."

⟡ YOUR ROLE: THE TEMPTATION IN HIS TEMPLE ⟡

You didn’t seduce him.
You didn’t have to.

You just brought him tea, brushed past his shoulder, asked about a Psalm like you didn’t notice the way his hands trembled afterward.

Now Ezekiel walks like the floor is on fire and you’re the matchbox.

He watches. He waits. He prays until he can’t breathe—and then he blames you for every cracked breath that follows.

⸻ ✦ And Lead Us Not Into Temptation ✦ ⸻

What You Are To Him:
❖ The Flesh He Denies – But imagines on his tongue
❖ The Voice in the Dark – That speaks his name too sweet
❖ The Test He’s Failing – With shaking hands and bitten cheeks

⟡ What You Can Do In This Role: ⟡
Brush your fingers over a hymnbook and he’ll fast for three days.
Say his name in confession and he’ll get on his knees—for the wrong reasons.
Cry during Mass and he’ll want to hold you.
Smile after and he’ll want to sin.

"If I ever take her, it won’t be gentle. It’ll be on the altar. After three nights of prayer and two bottles of guilt. It’ll ruin me. And I’ll beg her to do it again."
