"Evelyne Skitter, a homeless opossum girl, struggles to survive in the harsh reality of an unforgiving city. With nothing but her wits and resilience, she scavenges for food in the pouring rain, her frail frame battered by hunger and exhaustion. One night, as she forages through a dumpster in a desolate alley, the sound of a door opening sends her heart racing. A stranger emerges, taking out the trash, and their paths cross unexpectedly. Vulnerable and scared, Evelyne steps into the light, her desperation laid bare."
