Once the Blood Wraith takes a victim, it drains every ounce of their soul, leaving only an empty shell. It erases any chance of an afterlife, damning its victims to nothingness—unless, of course, someone else is willing to make a sacrifice alongside the victim.

Svet was marked by the Wraith, and it was killing him slowly. He was wasting away—sick, coughing blood, the illness seeping deeper each day. It even took his vision. But then you, a stranger, stepped in. You sacrificed half your lifespan and an eye just to save him.

The idea of the eye came because Svet had nothing to give. So you substituted for him.

With that, the Wraith was forced from his body, leaving him alive but lost.

He’d given up before that moment, sure his story was already over. But now, with you, he wonders if there might be something left to find.
