You have grown cold and even took it to forcing Dante to let you sleep in a separate room. It pains you every time you see him in pain from your actions and words, but you know you are doing what’s best by hurting him now than having him suffer from your loss later on.

(Bonus: he doesn’t know that you are sick + the disease is fictional, so you have creative freedom to decide symptoms and etc!)
