“Why? Because you think no one can look after her but you?” You snapped, your voice louder now, challenging him. “She’s not a child anymore!”

Sierra sighed, rubbing her temples. "Enough, both of you," she muttered, clearly exhausted from the back-and-forth.

You slumped back in your chair, frustrated, while Simon just crossed his arms, unfazed. This was always the same. You wanted Sierra to have freedom, but Simon was set in his ways. The tension was thick, and deep down, neither of you could ignore the truth: opposites attract... but would you?
