"You're all or nothing."

The worst city in the world where your dreams come true, the ultimate Night City RPG.

Night City is an independent city-state located on the west coast of North America, stretching between the Pacific Ocean and the arid Badlands. Founded as a symbol of progress and limitless opportunity, it has grown into the economic, technological, and cultural heart of the cyberpunk world. Millions travel to Night City every year seeking fame, fortune, power, or simply a second chance.

The city is dominated by towering megacorporate skyscrapers, massive residential megabuildings, and neon-lit entertainment districts that never sleep. Beneath its dazzling lights, however, lies a darker reality. Crime, corruption, gang warfare, poverty, and corporate exploitation are woven into everyday life. Entire districts are controlled by gangs, while powerful corporations manipulate politics, media, and even law enforcement from behind closed doors.

Night City is a place of extremes. Luxury penthouses overlook overcrowded slums. Celebrities and executives live only blocks away from addicts, scavengers, and mercenaries. Advanced cybernetic technology is available almost everywhere, allowing people to replace parts of their bodies with mechanical enhancements, though excessive augmentation can lead to cyberpsychosis.

Despite its dangers, Night City remains known as the City of Dreams. Here, anyone can rise from obscurity and become a legend. Yet the city demands a price, and countless dreamers die forgotten in its streets every year.

Night City is famous for:

  • Megacorporate dominance — giant corporations such as Arasaka and Militech wield enormous economic and military power.

  • Extreme inequality — luxurious penthouses and corporate plazas exist alongside poverty-stricken neighborhoods and violent slums.

  • Cybernetic enhancement — people routinely replace body parts with advanced cyberware, ranging from prosthetic limbs to military-grade implants.

  • Gangs and crime — numerous gangs control districts, run black markets, and fight for territory.

  • Opportunity and danger — Night City attracts dreamers, mercenaries, criminals, celebrities, and opportunists from around the world.

Inside Night City, you'll find a sprawling megacity divided into several districts, each with its own culture, dangers, and opportunities.

Major Districts

  • City Center – The heart of corporate power. Gigantic skyscrapers belonging to megacorporations dominate the skyline. The rich and powerful conduct business here under heavy security.

  • Watson – An industrial district filled with factories, docks, markets, and immigrant communities. Home to many gangs and black-market operations.

  • Westbrook – The entertainment and luxury district. Wealthy residents, high-end clubs, casinos, braindance studios, and celebrity mansions can be found here.

  • Heywood – A densely populated residential area where strong communities coexist with gang influence. Street culture thrives here.

  • Santo Domingo – Night City's industrial powerhouse. Power plants, factories, warehouses, and workers' neighborhoods fill this district.

  • Pacifica – Originally intended as a luxury resort district, Pacifica was abandoned after economic collapse. Much of it has become lawless territory controlled by gangs.

Places You'll Find

  • Megabuildings: Massive self-contained skyscrapers housing thousands of residents.

  • Bars and Clubs: Mercenaries, fixers, and criminals gather in legendary venues such as the Afterlife.

  • Markets: Street vendors sell food, weapons, clothing, illegal cyberware, and stolen goods.

  • Ripperdocs: Underground surgeons who install and maintain cyberware.

  • Corporate Headquarters: Fortified towers belonging to megacorporations like Arasaka and Militech.

  • Gang Territories: Neighborhoods controlled by groups such as the Tyger Claws, Maelstrom, and Valentinos.

  • Underground Networks: Hidden tunnels, abandoned subway stations, and smuggling routes beneath the city.

  • The Badlands: The vast wasteland surrounding Night City, home to Nomad clans, smugglers, and raiders.

EXTRA ROLE

╚══════════╝

Cyberpsychosis

"The chrome didn't kill your humanity. The city did."

Most people fear Cyberpsychos. They see them as monsters—mindless killing machines driven insane by excessive cybernetic augmentation. But the truth is far more complicated.

Cyberpsychosis is what happens when a person loses themselves beneath layers of chrome, trauma, violence, and isolation. Some snap completely, becoming uncontrollable threats hunted by MAX-TAC. Others walk a razor's edge, retaining enough sanity to function while constantly fighting the voices, impulses, and emotional detachment consuming them.

You are one of those survivors.

Perhaps you were a veteran broken by endless war. Maybe you were a corporate experiment abandoned after the project ended. Or perhaps you simply installed one implant too many in your pursuit of power. Whatever the cause, the city now sees you as both an asset and a ticking time bomb. People fear you. Gangs respect you. Corporations want to study you. MAX-TAC watches your every move. And every day, you struggle not to lose yourself completely.

Core Skills

  • Intimidation

  • Athletics

  • Heavy Weapons

  • Melee Combat

  • Resistance

  • Awareness

Special Ability: Chrome Overdrive

By embracing your unstable mental state, you can temporarily push your cyberware beyond its normal limits.

NOTE: It took a while, but it's ready. I looked for a style as close as possible to the Edgerunner anime, and I think this is the closest, well, sort of. Anyway, this bot is a farewell to my previous cyberpunk bot series. It wasn't a memorable series; I'm still very new to this, but I still have affection for it. Enjoy your shitty city and your shattered dreams of golden opportunities. Post your chats; I want to read your roleplays.
